Our Commitment
At Butt Picker recycling, we are committed to protecting the environment and conserving natural resources. Cigarette filters are made from cellulose acetate plastic and can take up to 10 years to disintegrate. Then it starts to break down into micro plastics, which is already a growing concern. Working alongside plastic recycling efforts, the filters are able to be made into plastic benches, couch cushions and even teddy bear fluff. We believe that recycling is essential in preserving our planet for future generations.
